Address

Dear Ms./Mr. LastName,

[OPTIONAL FOR REGISTERED VOTERS: I’m a voter and one of your constituents.] Please support the Senate’s proposal for comprehensive immigration reform–reform that includes a road to legalization and eventual citizenship for the undocumented and important and well overdue changes to the family-based and business-based immigration system. Piecemeal legislation is not the proper approach for those changes. This piecemeal approach is highly anti-immigrant, and would criminalize hard-working undocumented immigrants, harm American businesses and employees, and gut our agricultural system. This cannot be the way forward for successful immigration reform.

This legislation is a historic opportunity toward creating an immigration system with bipartisan support that better serves the needs of our families, employers, and country. I urge you not to let this opportunity pass and respectfully request your support for the Senate’s proposal for comprehensive immigration reform.

Respectfully,
